A week of dramatic weather (and a weekend of perhaps equally dramatic weather to come) and still our children are talking of adventures to be had. It feels as though everywhere I have looked this week I have seen smiling children and happy faces...and I’m not surprised. They have been out in the woods, up on the new astroturf, riding bikes, making new frames for the bees, digging in their garden plots, climbing the trees, hanging out and playing with their friends at breaktime, and being taught by inspirational teachers - it was great to see Form 6 with Mr Doak in the lab this morning with their cell models, enjoying all that we have to offer. Suffice to say, I have been reminded that our pupils really do have it good and are making the most of every day of their precious childhood here at Craigclowan. As I sit here and type, I am looking forward to a weekend of adventure and I hope you are too...
