Vaulting Success for Zoe

Daring Form 5 pupil Zoe M has had a successful couple of weeks competing in Equestrian Vaulting. At the Scottish Championships on 23 September, she and her partner Tabitha were announced the SEV Pas de Deux Champions in the under 12 category, and at the British Championships at Morris Equestrian on 07 and 08 October, Zoe took individual second place in the under 12 category in the UK final.

Equestrian vaulting is most often described as gymnastics and dance on horseback.  Vaulting has a history stretching back at least two-thousand years and in competitive vaulting, vaulters compete as individuals, pairs (pas-de-deux), and teams.  Zoe trains with Kinross Vaulting Club and vaults on a Welsh Section D pony called Toby.  Many congratulations Zoe!
